Subscribe to our services

This page explains the process to follow if you wish to sign up for Stancer’s services.

1. Create your account

To sign up for Stancer’s services, you first need to create and activate your account on the User Area. To do so, enter a user name and a password. Your e-mail address will be your user name for accessing your User Area: you should therefore choose a secure and valid address. Then, activate your account using the link provided in the e-mail we will send to this address.

FAQ

I have not received an e-mail with an activation link.

Some e-mail applications sometimes place our first e-mail in the "spam" folder. You should therefore check this folder before contacting our teams. If there is no e-mail, please contact our support service.

I have forgotten my password: what should I do?

On the login page for the User Area, click on "forgotten password" and you will immediately receive a link by e-mail to reset your password.

2. Access your User Area

Once your user name and password have been created, you must enter some mandatory information about your business in order to be able to access your User Area. You can then consult your User Area for the first time.

3. Get to know the User Area and the services

We recommend that you get to know our services by performing tests:

  • If you have an e-commerce website:

We suggest that you perform tests in order to get to know our API. Test keys are available on the "Developers" page of your User Area. You can already send your first requests to test the Stancer API. These requests will remain in a test environment: no payments will be done.

  • If you do not have an e-commerce website:

You may browse your User Area in order to get to know all the services we offer. Discover what a fully functioning dashboard looks like using the example data that is shown during your initial log ins.

4. Finalise your sign-up

You can finalise your sign-up at any time by clicking on the appropriate tab in your User Area. To finalise your sign-up and obtain access to Stancer’s services and to the various tools associated with said services, you must enter information, in particular concerning the managers of your business, and send us supporting documents. Obtaining supporting documents makes it possible for Stancer to comply with its regulatory obligations concerning the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT). We ask you to provide this information for legal reasons. You can then sign your contract electronically.

FAQ

How do I know to which service(s) I sign up for?

Only one Client File is necessary to access all of our services. As soon as your Client File is approved by our teams, you will have access to all the functionalities and will be able to manage your services from your User Area: order a payment terminal (loan), obtain production keys for our API, send paylinks etc.

5. Review of your Client File

Once your information has been entered and the contract signed, your Client File will be sent to our teams, who will analyse the information and documents you provided to us. This approval stage can take a few days. We will send you an e-mail informing you of the final approval of your file.

Additional documents

In certain cases, we may need additional documents so that we can approve your Client File. Where necessary, an e-mail will be sent to you stating the list of additional documents that are needed.

Please note that failure to send the additional documents requested by our teams will result in the deactivation of your account after 30 days.

FAQ

Am I locked in for a specific period?

No. You can terminate your contract (only from your User Area) at any time and at no charge, provided that you give a one-month notice.

Why has my sign-up not been approved?

Aspects of your Client File unfortunately prevent us from responding favourably to your request.

6. Make the most of Stancer’s services!

Once your Client File has been approved, you can start using the Stancer services you subscribed to during your registration.

Note

If you wish to add one or more additional services after your subscription has been validated, please contact our support team at: support@stancer.com.

Our teams will process your request as quickly as possible.

You can already accept payments from your customers using paylinks. To do so, nothing could be easier! All you have to do is to log in to your User Area and click on the "Paylink" tab, fill out the form that contains information on the order, then send the link to your customer by e-mail or SMS. You will then be informed when your customer has paid for the order.

API service

Your production keys are made available to you in your User Area: you can now accept payments from your customers. If you have not done so already, you can integrate our API, to ensure a more fluid payment experience.

Tap to Pay

To use Tap to Pay, download the Stancer app from the App Store or the Google Play Store and sign in. Follow the steps to activate Tap to Pay. Then, you'll just need to accept in-person, contactless payments, wherever and whenever you want, directly on your smartphone. Tap to Pay maintains compliance with PCI DSS standards by not storing sensitive cardholder information.

Terminal Service

You can order your payment terminal (loan) from your User Area by clicking on the "Terminal" tab. Once delivered, you can start up the terminal and accept payments from your customers.

7. Multi-user access

The Multi-user feature allows multiple members of the same Organization to access the User Area, with roles and permissions tailored to their responsibilities.

Members belong to the Organization, while their roles and permissions are defined at the level of each Collection Account.

An Organization can have one or more Collection Accounts.

Members of the Organization can access them according to the roles assigned to them. When there are multiple Collection Accounts, access can be configured independently for each one: the same member can therefore access multiple Collection Accounts and have a different role for each, depending on their responsibilities.

Roles

Roles define each member’s level of access and the actions they are authorized to perform.

5 roles are available:

  • Legal Representative: User with the highest level of access, authorized to represent the Organization, manage access for all users, and administer their roles.

  • Supervisor: User responsible for monitoring activity, who can manage members with the Accountant, Collaborator, and Software Developer roles, with the exception of Supervisors and Legal Representatives. They can also oversee operations and manage refunds.

  • Accountant: User with access to the information required for financial monitoring, including transactions, payouts, and accounting documents. They cannot make payments.

  • Collaborator: User with the access required to manage day-to-day activity, including making payments. They cannot issue refunds or manage users.

  • Software Developer: User with access to the technical features required for integrations, including the creation and management of API keys, as well as test and development environments. They can make API calls to Stancer systems. Attention: API capabilities are independent of the restrictions applied in the User Area. For example, a refund can be performed through an API call even if the user is not authorized to perform this action manually in the interface.

Adding members

The Legal Representative has the highest level of authorization. They can add, modify, or remove the roles of members of a Collection Account.

They can manage the following roles:

  • Legal Representative
  • Supervisor
  • Accountant
  • Collaborator
  • Software Developer

For security reasons, however, a Legal Representative cannot modify their own role or the role of another Legal Representative.

The Supervisor can manage members whose level of responsibility is lower than their own. They can add, modify, or remove the following roles:

  • Accountant
  • Collaborator
  • Software Developer

When a user is invited to join an Organization, they receive an email containing an invitation link. They must accept this invitation to join the Organization.

Validity period: The invitation remains valid for 72 hours. If it expires, a new invitation must be sent.

A limit of 32 invitations per week per user applies.

8. Bank Account Update

To update your Bank Account in your Client Area, please follow the steps below:

1. Access your Client Area

Log in to your Stancer account.

2. Go to the “My Account” section

From the main menu, select My Account.

3. Update your Bank Account

In the My Client File section, click the Edit button.

4. Enter your new banking details

Provide your new IBAN.

5. Upload a banking document

Upload a Account Details Form in PDF format to validate the change.

6. Confirm the request

Review your information and confirm the modification.

7. Security

A notification of the Bank Account change will be sent via email.  The security of your registered mobile phone number and contact email is applied to ensure the protection of your account.  Once these steps are completed, our team will verify your RIB, and the Bank Account update will be effective after validation.

9. Collection Accounts

A Collection Account is an account linked to your Organization that allows you to separate and track payments, payouts, and billing information related to a specific activity or payment flow.

An Organization can have one or more Collection Accounts. A Collection Account can, for example, correspond to one of your points of sale, one of your e-commerce websites, or a specific activity.

Each Collection Account has its own management scope. When you select a Collection Account, the transactions, payouts, and associated information displayed in the User area correspond to that account.

Adding a Collection Account

To add a new Collection Account, contact our support team at support@stancer.com.

From the User area

From the home page, open the Collection Account menu in the navigation bar, then select the desired account from the list.

From the Stancer app

Go to Account, open the Collection Account menu, then select the desired account.

Once the Collection Account is selected, you can access the transactions, payouts, and information associated with it.

Collection Accounts and Bank Accounts

A new Collection Account is configured by default with the Bank Account known for your Organization.

However, you can configure a specific Bank Account for each of your Collection Accounts. The same Bank Account can also be used for multiple Collection Accounts.

To change the Bank Account associated with a Collection Account, select it from the navigation bar and follow the procedure for changing a Bank Account.

Collection Accounts and users

When multiple users have access to your Organization, their access to Collection Accounts can be configured independently.

The same user can therefore access multiple Collection Accounts and have a different role on each one, depending on their responsibilities.

For more information about user management, see the Multi-user access section.

Benefits of using multiple Collection Accounts with Stancer

  • Separate tax identification and legal entities: Each Organization can only be linked to a single legal entity and its tax identification number. If you manage multiple legally separate organizations, you must create a separate account for each of them.

  • Clearer billing information: Using the same Collection Account for multiple organizations can lead to confusion.

  • Better transaction management: Separating transactions by activity makes it easier to track transactions, export reports, and perform bank reconciliations.

  • Bank transfer management: Each Collection Account can be associated with a separate Bank Account for bank transfers, although the same Bank Account can be used for multiple Collection Accounts with Stancer.
